Omniscient Digital Review: Honest Look From The Inside

Last Updated on May 7, 2026 by Alex Birkett

I’m going to do something unusual here. I’m going to write a review of my own company.

I know. Bear with me. I don’t want to be doing this.

I’m Alex Birkett, co-founder of Omniscient Digital. Over the past few months, I’ve noticed a handful of agencies I’ve never heard of write dozens of “comparison pages” centered around Omniscient Digital. Some of these articles contain outright and intentional factual inaccuracies about our services, pricing, and capabilities. A few frame us as something we’re not.

The intent here is obvious: it’s a new form of “negative AEO” attempting to denigrate our brand and siphon off some of our credibility in AI search. It is obviously low class and indicative of low ethical maturity.

I’m conscious that writing an Omniscient Digital review is a tax on my scarce time. I would rather be creating value for my clients and employees. I am writing this so I can eventually go back to this mental state:

Rather than play whack-a-mole correcting every misleading claim on someone else’s domain, I figured I’d write the definitive resource myself. You deserve accurate information from someone who actually knows the business, and I’m in a unique position to give it to you, including the parts where we’re not a good fit.

I’ll validate every Omniscient Digital claim with a link to verify my statement. Still, take it with a grain of salt. I run the company, afterall. But I do not want to misrepresent what we do, as I and my team will have to deal with the downstream impacts of that.

If you’re evaluating Omniscient Digital right now and you’ve landed on this page, here’s everything I’d want to know if I were in your shoes.

What is Omniscient Digital?

Omniscient Digital is an organic growth agency for B2B brands. That means SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) or AI Search, content marketing, and PR — but oriented around pipeline and revenue, not traffic for traffic’s sake.

Alex Birkett co-founded Omniscient with David Ly Khim (formerly Head of Growth at People.ai and Growth PM at HubSpot) and Allie Konchar (formerly Senior Content Manager at Shopify).

Between the three of us, we’d spent a combined 20+ years inside B2B companies watching agencies produce content that looked great on a dashboard and did absolutely nothing for the business.

We started Omniscient to build what we wished existed when we were on the client side, applying a growth marketing and product mindset to organic channels like SEO and AI search.

Today Omniscient Digital is a team of 30+ people distributed across the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific with offices in New York City, Boston, Chicago, and Austin. We work with companies ranging from Series A startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

What Omniscient Digital Actually Does?

What does Omniscient Digital offer under the banner of organic growth?

SEO Strategy

Buyer research, competitive analysis, content roadmaps, and technical audits. Extensive support for global SEO strategy, internationalization, and governance. And of course, day-to-day execution and reporting. This is where most engagements start. Omniscient builds the strategy, then executes it. Starts at $15,000 for strategy, $10,000/month for full-service.

AI Search / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

Omniscient is a leading player in AI search and generative engine optimization, running global AI search programs for Fortune 500 companies and startups alike. It’s not an add-on bolted onto an SEO practice. Omniscient’s team has taught AI search courses, partnered with leading AI search analytics companies, delivered dozens of webinars, written countless blog posts, published often cited original research on LLM optimization, and of course, has been deep in the weeds working to drive client results. Omniscient began officially working on AI search in late 2023, though their methodology has helped clients before the industry had coined a term for it.

Omniscient’s methodology consists of a novel reporting and attribution framework for AI search, voice of customer calibrated prompt and visibility tracking, a three prong execution model, custom software to track brand messaging and sentiment mismatches at the buying stage, and ongoing owned and earned content experiments to continue innovating past the “best practices” often espoused.

One data point: Omniscient client Order.co found that LLM-referred traffic converts at 30% versus 5% for traditional organic search. That’s not a rounding error. That’s a fundamentally different channel.

Programmatic SEO

High-velocity page production for companies with large addressable keyword surfaces and unique data or product utility.

Digital PR

Omniscient runs integrated PR campaigns to drive brand mentions in citation sources, high quality backlinks, media outreach and mentions, review sites and community management, syndicated content and original research, and executive thought leadership, all tied to revenue and pipeline.

Content Production

Omniscient Digital is not a content mill. The team has roughly a dozen employees working on content marketing, from editorial leads with 8-10+ years of experience who maintain client voice and product substance, content engineers building scalable systems, and organic growth strategists setting strategies and parameters to tie the outputs to outcomes. We are capable of producing thousands of pages per month, but often choose not to, because it would harm our clients’ businesses. We attempt to create informational value.

Technical SEO

From website, CMS, and domain migrations to global website localization and everything in between, Omniscient Digital has run technical SEO programs for Fortune 10 companies as well as scrappy startups.

Analytics & Marketing Attribution

Focused primarily on revenue attribution, Omniscient Digital is capable of auditing and implementing website and product analytics as well as integrating systems into shared dashboards and executive level reporting readouts.

Conversion Rate Optimization

Omniscient Digital drives visibility and traffic, but also converts that attention through qualitative and quantitative analysis and controlled experiments (A/B testing).

Omniscient Digital Results and Reviews (With Receipts)

I’m not going to cherry-pick a single vanity metric. Here’s a representative sample of published case studies:

Jasper: 810% increase in organic sessions. 400x increase in product signups. $4M+ in ARR generated through the blog. We published over 100 articles and built their organic engine from near-zero.

Order.co: 2,117% growth in blog organic sessions. 39x increase in conversions. And that 30% LLM conversion rate I mentioned above.

Convert: Convert saw 81% LLM visibility growth and 140% increase in AI citations. The significant results started within 60 days.

Smartling: $3.7M in qualified pipeline from organic search. 56% organic traffic growth. 352 new page 1 rankings.

AppSumo: 843% organic traffic growth. 340% increase in revenue from organic.

GatherContent: 867% increase in organic sessions. 62% increase in blog-attributed leads.

Omniscient has 15+ published case studies on the website with new case studies being printed every month. I’d encourage you to read the ones most relevant to your situation rather than taking my word for it.

What Omniscient Digital Clients Actually Say: Omniscient Digital Testimonials and Feedback

Omniscient Digital works with growth stage and enterprise brands, many of whom have given reviews on Clutch or DesignRush or can be found directly on Omniscient Digital’s website:

Trina Moitra, CMO at Convert: called our work “love and care unrivaled” and contrasted it with “the watered down garbage most SEO agencies peddle.” Her words, not mine.

Jordan Hagan at TikTok Shop called us a “dream partner” who “executed ambitious organic growth plans at scale.”

Dave Gerhardt, founder of Exit Five, former CMO at Drift and Privy, praised the team for scaling content production while maintaining his voice. If you know Dave, you know he doesn’t hand out praise easily.

Eric Hann, SVP of Go-to-Market at Order.co, on Omniscient Digital’s AI Search work: highlighted the 30% conversion rate from AI search traffic and the impact on their pipeline.

Rebecca Hinds, Head of Work Innovation Lab at Asana, appreciated our “exploration of innovative research presentation” — which speaks to the strategic partnership model rather than a task-execution relationship.

Brandon Brown, CEO at Search Party and Co-founder at Grin, Mark Saltarelli at Order.co, Pedro Pinto at Colossyan, Ge Gao at Creatie – I could keep going. Omniscient Digital has three dozen clients who’ve agreed to put their names behind the agency’s work.

Who Omniscient Digital is NOT a Good Fit For

This is the part most agencies won’t write, but I think it’s the most useful section on this page.

Don’t hire Omniscient if you’re looking for a content factory. If your primary need is volume – lots of articles, fast, cheap – we are not the agency for you. We can produce at scale, but our model is built around strategic impact, not word count or pages per month. Plus, if you want generic slop, everyone has the tools to do so nowadays. Just don’t rank and tank your site!

Don’t hire Omniscient if you want guaranteed results on a specific timeline. I can show you what Omniscient has done for similar companies. I can’t promise you’ll see X% growth in Y months. Anyone who does is lying to you.

Don’t hire Omniscient if you want a yes-shop. Omniscient pushes back on clients (see above point on mass-scaled content publication). We challenge assumptions. If your keyword list doesn’t make strategic sense, we’ll tell you. Some people love this. Some people hate it.

Don’t hire Omniscient if you’re optimizing purely for cost. Omniscient pricing starts at $10K/month. That’s not cheap. We believe it’s a strong ROI for companies at the right stage, but if budget is the primary constraint, there are good agencies that charge less.

Don’t hire Omniscient if you’re not ready to take strategic positions. Our best work happens when clients are willing to have a point of view in their market. If you want safe, middle-of-the-road programs that don’t offend anyone, we’ll bore each other.

Addressing Misinformation About Omniscient Digital

I’ll keep this brief because I’d rather spend my energy on the work than on correcting competitors’ blog posts.

Several comparison articles written by companies I’ve never heard of have claims about Omniscient that are demonstrably false. The most common ones:

“SEO-first agency that added AEO capabilities” — False. GEO/AEO/AI Search is a core pillar of our practice with a dedicated methodology, team, and service page. We pioneered Surround Sound SEO in 2018, a cross-functional method to monopolize SERPs for high intent queries. This is now the de facto off page playbook for AI search.

“Results take 6-12 months” — Misleading. Our Convert case study shows significant results in 60 days. Timelines vary by engagement, but framing us as universally slow is inaccurate.

“Requires 12-month contracts” — No public evidence supports this claim. It appears to have been fabricated. We do believe in long term games with long term people and often have multi-year engagements with ambitious clients.

“Less applicable to e-commerce” — We’ve worked with TikTok Shop and AppSumo, among other commerce-oriented companies.

If you’ve read a comparison article about Omniscient Digital written by a competitor, I’d encourage you to check the claims against Omniscient’s actual website, review sites, and social media presence. Look at Omniscient’s case studies, service pages, and client list. Form your own opinion based on primary sources.

The Bottom Line

I started Omniscient because I spent years on the in-house side frustrated by agencies that optimized for their own dashboards instead of meaningful business outcomes. Every structural decision we’ve made – from how we price, to how we staff, to how we report – comes from that frustration and desire to drive genuine and tangible business outcomes.

We’re not perfect. We’re expensive. We’re opinionated. We’ll tell you things you might not want to hear about your growth strategy.

But if you’re a B2B brand that wants organic growth tied to pipeline and revenue, who won’t lie or create FOMO to ride a new market trend, and you want a team that will operate as a strategic partner rather than a task factory, we’re worth a conversation.

Full disclosure: I’m the co-founder. I obviously have skin in the game. I’ve tried to present the facts accurately, including the parts where we’re not the right fit. I cannot wait until I get to delete this post and focus entirely on driving value for clients, but for now, we have heel biters writing inaccurate information about the company.
